Truly – General Laminate Case Goods Constructions

All exposed and non-exposed solids are kiln-dried solid hardwoods. All exposed veneers are flat-cut hardwoods.
Top construction: high-pressure laminate top with lumber-banded particleboard core and perimeter-banded where applicable.
End panel construction: 3-ply veneered panel with particle board core. Bottom edge is pvc-banded to prevent moisture absorption.
Drawer front construction: 3-ply veneered panel with veneer banding around perimeter.
Drawer box construction: drawer sides and bottoms are sealed hardwood plywood. Drawer sides are attached to fronts with a french dovetail joint and attached to backs with a dado joint. Drawer guides are full-extension ball-bearing type with a 75-lb rating.
Door construction: 5-ply veneered panel with perimeter lumber-banded particleboard core.
Case construction: 32mm bore-and-dowel construction with a full top front rail, top back rail, full bottom rail, and full bottom panel. All cases are secured with a combination of cleats, corner blocks, screws, dowels, and glue. Headboards are wall-mounted.
Finish standards: all cases proceed through a 16-step finishing process.
Back panels: back panels are recessed 1.5 inches. The bottom edges have a moisture barrier applied if the end panel rests on the floor.
